International Workshop on Probability Theory
Department of Mathematics, Union Christian College, Aluva conducted a one day Workshop on Probability Theory on December 16, 2019. Prof. Rein D. Nobel, Associate Professor, Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, Netherlands inaugurated the Workshop. In the forenoon session Prof. Rein D. Nobel delivered a lecture on ‘Dynamic manpower planning in a Call Centre’. In the afternoon session Prof. A. Krishnamoorthy, Director, Centre for Research in Mathematics, C. M. S. College, Kottayam delivered a talk on ‘Basics of Markov Chain Theory’. Forty four participants from various Colleges attended the Workshop.
