Condolence Meeting
The college organized a meeting to condole the passing away of our esteemed former Professors, Gabriel Sir and Cherian Sir. Prof. PC Cherian, Former Professor of Department of Mathematics left for Heavenly Abode on 9 September 2023, after a brief period of illness. Prof PC Cherian joined Union Christian College as a Junior Lecturer on 14 August 1968. He took leave in 1975 to work outside India and rejoined the college with more experience on 2 August 1979. He completed his M. Phil from CUSAT. Sir served the department and the college in various capacities. He took charge as Head Department of Mathematics in the year 2000 and continued to be in the position till his retirement in 2001. He was the Head of MCA dept from August 2008 to March 2011.
